Oils of the Bible: Ancient Wisdom, Timeless Healing
When Illness Came, So Did God's Healing
There was a time when my health—and my hope—felt like they were slipping through my fingers. The illness I faced shook every part of me. But I held on to God, and He led me to unexpected tools of restoration—including essential oils. These weren’t just random remedies—they were sacred gifts found throughout Scripture, used for worship, healing, anointing, and everyday life.
Through prayer and study, I discovered how these biblical oils were more than ancient tradition—they were part of God’s provision for wellness. Today, I’m here because of His grace and the support of these powerful plants.
Let me share a few of the most impactful oils mentioned in the Bible and how they’re still relevant today.

Frankincense – Sacred and Soothing

Used in offerings and temple rituals (Exodus 30:34, Matthew 2:11), Frankincense represents prayer and purification. I use it during quiet time to enhance spiritual connection and support immune wellness and radiant skin.

Myrrh – Beauty and Burial

Referenced over a dozen times in Scripture, Myrrh was part of purification rituals (Esther 2:12) and burial (John 19:39). It’s emotionally grounding and helps support skin and immune function—an anchor during my own healing journey.

Cedarwood – Strength and Stillness

Used in building the temple (1 Kings 6), Cedarwood is a symbol of strength and protection. It’s my go-to for restful sleep and calming anxious thoughts.

Hyssop – Cleanse and Restore

“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean” (Psalm 51:7). This oil was used during Passover and purification rituals. Spiritually and physically, it helped me detox from the inside out.

Spikenard – Lavish Worship

Mary anointed Jesus with Spikenard in John 12:3. It’s a symbol of extravagant love and surrender. This oil helped calm my heart and support emotional clarity when I needed it most.

Cassia – Anointed and Set Apart

A key ingredient in the holy anointing oil (Exodus 30:24), Cassia reminds me that we are called, chosen, and covered by God’s provision. Its warm, spicy aroma lifts my spirits and supports immune health.

The Holy Blend – Galbanum, Onycha & More

God instructed a sacred incense blend in Exodus 30:34–36. Each oil held meaning, but together, they created something powerful—just like our spiritual and physical lives should be in harmony.

Hey! I'm Julie...

I used to struggle with my health. Sadly, stage 4 cancer left me weak, dependent on medications, and searching for hope. Then I discovered the power of God’s creation, plants and oils designed to support our bodies.

Along the way, I also learned simple, foundational principles of wellness I wish someone had shared with me sooner. With faith, prayer, and natural living, everything began to change.

Now I help women and their families reclaim the health they thought they had lost due to medical challenges. I teach the same basic foundations that have helped me so you can walk in strength, set an example for your family, and leave a legacy of wellness for your precious grandchildren.

Through routine wellness scans, the Raindrop Technique, the 14-Day Reset and essential oil education, I walk alongside you on your journey.

If that’s you, get in touch, I’d love to help. I’m so glad you found your way here. - Julie
